We were looking to "refresh" our 1960's ranch style semi-custom home. Our tastes tend toward simple quality and not flashy elegance. We found Susy through the internet after viewing websites and seeing her work. Ultimately, we hired Susy and had an outstanding experience. She listened to us carefully and directed our material and furniture selections to obtain the optimum result based on her knowledge and creativity. Additionally, she provided names of vendors and stores to provide services (construction, electrician, floor refinishers, lighting, etc.) that were reliable and experienced. Most importantly, she is a down-to-earth upbeat optimist who offers new ideas and suggestions, but will be flexible to support your final choices and budget limitations. She is also 100% available and reliable at almost anytime and a great communicator as well as listener. During the project she was always "checking in" to keep things on track.

We renovated our den, small office, living room, and several bedrooms and Susy took on our project as if it were her own house--she really cares about her clients. We feel fortunate that Susy was our "go to" person with any questions or needs. For example, she converted part of our built-in bookcase to a new TV & media center, replaced carpeting with hardwood floors, "inverted" the layout of our den (which changed the whole feel of the room), added/replaced recessed LED lighting and fans in multiple rooms, suggested a round dining room table to replace our rectangular farm table (freeing up space), and gave the "nod" to area rugs, furniture and table items we purchased locally or online while keeping/re-positioning many of our existing items.

We are thrilled with our "new home." Susy's talent, personality and conscientiousness made this a fun project for us and we definitely would give her the highest recommendation.

My 92 year-old mother was being moved out here from her home in Ohio she lived in for 35 years. But her friends and family back east were disappearing. She wanted to stay in her Ohio home forever, but doctor ordered assisted living near family. Her remaining family lives in California.

So, we selected her favorite furniture, wall pieces and art from her Ohio home and Susy measured and placed them on paper and then we shipped it out here. Meanwhile, Susy added crown molding, fresh paint that matched the furniture, found the perfect drapes and rods that were reasonably priced but pulled the bedroom and living room all together. It was a gorgeous miracle.

It has been one month now since mom came to California and as of two days ago she calls her new place "home." We call it "home sweet home" because Susy made it work.
